About me

For more than 20 years, I have been working as a healthcare professional.
The experience that influenced me most deeply was working in the hospice, which led me
towards palliative care which later developed into End of life doula work - supporting people
who are dying and their loved ones.

We can never truly prepare ourselves for pain. We learn to live with it—with every loss, with every goodbye. Most of our lives are focused on growth, achievement, and building our futures.
Yet it is equally natural to pause, become still, and bring our attention to the final moments of life.

I am a guide, not a guru. I hold space for people during times when they experience fear, grief, uncertainty, or profound sorrow. I do not take away their strength—I help them reconnect
with their own.

I accompany people at the end of life, their families, and those who are grieving.
I offer practical guidance coming from my professional experience as a nurse, and above all,
a safe space for honest conversations without judgment or false compassion.

I believe that humanity and professionalism can exist side by side. My vision is to bring
more compassion and humanity into healthcare and end-of-life care, to connect timeless
wisdom with the present day, and to create a community of people who are able to support
both themselves and others.

In the summer of 2019, after sixteen years of living in England, I have moved with my family
of 4 back to Slovakia.
Since 2020 I have been working with the non-profit organisation KOLOBEH ŽIVOTA.
We have been running different End of life doula courses and seminars ever since.

I continue to cultivate and develop international collaborations to this day.

I completed the "Death Walker" course with Zenith Virago, an Australian Death walker.

I maintain an ongoing collaboration with Alexandra Derwen, my End of life doula teacher,
with whom I have also co-facilitated Death Doula Preparation Retreat.

Another international collaboration is with Jana Slavíčková; this involves not only participating
in the "K smrti dobrý" festival (Deadly Good Festival) but also co-facilitating the
"K smrti dobrá cesta" (A Good Journey to Death) seminars.

I successfully passed the "Bereavement Counselor" exam administered by PhDr. Mgr. Nadežda Špatenková, Ph.D., MBA, and Mgr. et Mgr. Drahomír Ševčík.
With the IBS and with PhDr. Karolína Maloň Friedlová, PhD., I completed certified courses
in Basal Stimulation (Levels I and II).
Through AVO o.z. Terapeutika, I obtained certification as a Naomi Feil Validation Worker (Level I).

I am currently a student in the professionally oriented Bachelor's program in Counseling at TFTU.

This website is a compassionate space where you will find support, practical information,
and a place to pause and reflect.

If any from above resonates with you, I am here to support you.
